About Me

Cheryl Dolinger Brown

Born and raised in the Midwest, I found my heart and home as an adult in New York City and I found my passion in working with people. I feel very privileged to join people on their journey through life challenges: facing difficulty and chaos, changing old patterns, accepting and honoring themselves, and developing more satisfying relationships.

Having a strong, life-long curiosity about people and our world, I found the perfect field to learn and grow. I have been in regular ongoing individual, group and peer supervision/consultation for my entire career. At present I am in two monthly peer groups and bi-weekly individual consultation. I'm a constant professional workshop participant, a voracious reader and am strongly connected to my professional community. Whatever I learn I bring into my sessions with clients and also practice on myself.
In addition, I have over thirty years of experience presenting workshops in corporate and professional settings. As wellness coordinator for a national employee assistance program I created over forty seminars and trained other social workers in their presentation skills.
